Mi è piaciuto Fabulous campsite with amazing views. The staff were lovely; friendly and helpful. Great toilet and shower set up and a communal kitchen with microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge freezer. The onsite cafe and bar were an added bonus. The ability to chose your own pitch was great and the distance requirements meant everyone could have their own space. There are optional extras, like the hot tubs, and glamping options on site too which looked fantastic.

Mi è piaciuto Beautifully maintained site for static caravans, tourer caravans and mobile homes. The grounds are spotlessly clean and well planted, with hedging to separate each area. There is an onsite bar and restaurant with children’s indoor and out door play areas, making it very family friendly.

Non mi è piaciuto The site mostly caters for caravans so the facilities for small campers are basic and limited to a couple of washing up sinks.

Mi è piaciuto A great campsite for campers and mobile homes. The views are spectacular and the facilities are very clean and well maintained. There is a large kitchen/games room with sofas and a TV, a range of animals and a large play area for children, making it a family friendly site.

Non mi è piaciuto Not a dislike as the remote site appealed to us, but there is no pub or shop within walking distance, so be prepared!

Mi è piaciuto A great simple campsite with excellent views and access to the Cinder Trail. The pitches were spacious and the self selection works well. The toilet and showers were spacious, clean and well laid out. There is also a shared kitchen area with a kettle and microwave and an honesty shop for any extras needed.

Non mi è piaciuto Not a dislike, but there were no logs in the honesty shop for the fire pits, which may have been a conscious decision due to the dry weather.

Mi è piaciuto The small size of the campsite made it very peaceful and the spacious camping pitches by the stream. The facilities, whilst basic, were kept spotlessly clean. Our hosts who were friendly and helpful but also unobtrusive. The weather was wonderful throughout our stay which made everything easier.

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing, although if the weather had been wet our experience may have been less enjoyable as you cannot access the campsite with your car.

Mi è piaciuto Generous pitch sizes, well spaced out around the walled garden. Games room good and staff were friendly. Facilities clean and well maintained.

Non mi è piaciuto We were on a central pitch which was very open and windy for a tent pitch. Generally the site seems more suited to caravans or motor homes. Despite being surrounded by empty pitches a caravan was given the pitch next to us - would have been better to spread the pitches out given that the site was less than half occupied.
