Mi è piaciuto Excellent place to stay. Me and my family loved it inside the fox bell tent, we stayed from the 3rd to the 5th of August. The views are lovely, the bell tent is spacious and very nicely decorated to give it a warm and cosy feel, I must say the bed is very comfy, which I don't normally find when staying away. I liked that there was ample of little lights inside the tent, and fairy lights, it give off a very nice relaxing vibe at night. The toilets were lovely, clean and nicely decorated, I seen someone had previously put a comment on saying the water went cold, this problem has now been fixed, and the shower is great. I was shocked to find the fridge had a ice dispenser, that was a real nice touch and well needed on a hot day. The fridge and freezer is the huge to fit plenty in, also allowing room for other bell tent users. Everything you need is on the kitchen (bell tent users only) from fire lighter cubes, plates, cups, glasses, and cutlery. The staff are very welcoming, Emma always got back to us straight away with any questions we had. The bar had plenty of darft beers to chose from, very enjoyable cold pint. The pizzas are totally beutiful, hats off to the chef. 10/10. Plenty of options for the kids with sweets, milkshakes and i think ice creams were available. The prices were very fair too, especially for the fishing. The local animals that live on the site are very well looked after, and is nice to see roaming around, local wildlife is also present throughout the stay with dragonflies, buzzards, goshhawks, sparrow hawks, deer if you're lucky enough to see them in the woods. They have a great fishing pond,the site is very well looked after and extremely clean. We would love to stay here again soon.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely camp site with everything you need. The food is good and the chicken wings are excellent. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. Good fishing too with plenty of slivers to be caught, and the odd carp. Nice grass pitches that are well maintained. Lovely view's and a river that runs at the side of the camp site. The showers and toilets are very clean. Will definitely be returning in spring next year.

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely loved it here, Me and the wife stayed for two nights. Loved how private it was, and the mix of wildlife around. Dave the owner was very helpful. Everything you need is inside the hut, from a bottle opener to heaters. Thought the bottle of wine, and wood for the fire when you arrive was a real nice touch. Loved the breakfast in the cafe that's located on site, proper sausages 😋. 10/10 what an absolute gem of a place. We have booked to go back in June. Thanks Dave and your family. From Paul and Emma.

Mi è piaciuto What a real gem this place is. The owner's Aisa and Neil are lovely, nothing was to much trouble. The animals are a real nice touch, chickens, ducks, Chinese geese and the goats 🐐. The wildlife is amazing with buzzards, owls and pheasants, there is also fox and badger sets in the woods a small walk down the field. We went when it had rained for three days and the fields were still good and not waterlogged, which is always a bonus when in a tent. The toilets and washing facilities were very clean and was cleaned on a regular basis. A really lovely site with lovely owner's, we will definitely be returning. Hope to see you soon. Paul and Emma.

Mi è piaciuto Stayed at the wild camping pitch 1 yesterday, the owner's could not be more helpful from start to finish. The wood and fire pit was a bargain,just a shame the weather didn't allow us to use it. The toilets on site are immaculate,modern, warm and the music is a very nice touch 👌. The views are amazing and the morning wake up call (after 8:30am) being a F-22 raptor was a real buzz 😀. We will definitely be returning.
