Mi è piaciuto Fantastic campsite with 10/10 facilities! We had a fantastic stay at Pensagillas Park and would definitely recommend it. The facilities were excellent — a well-deserved 10/10 from us. Everything was clean, well maintained and there was plenty available, including lots of pot-washing areas, washing machines, toilets and showers, so you never felt like you were waiting around. There are also some brilliant extras on site that really make a difference. The mini shop, gin bar and takeaway were lovely additions, and it was great to see local farm produce available too. It gives the site a real community feel and means you can pick up a few essentials or treat yourself without having to head off site. The site itself is beautiful, with quaint lakeside walks, gorgeous plants and flowers, and bird boxes dotted around, making it a lovely place to wander around and enjoy the surroundings. The pitches were a really good size, and we particularly liked that there are some private pitches available too. We had an electric pitch, which was very handy and made our stay even more comfortable. The Wi-Fi connection was also great, which was a real bonus. There is little to no mobile phone signal on site, but the Wi-Fi worked really well, so it wasn’t an issue for us. The location is fantastic for exploring Cornwall. It’s close to the Eden Project, with places such as Bodmin and the beautiful fishing village of Charlestown easily accessible for days out. Overall, a lovely campsite with excellent facilities, great little extras, spacious pitches, a beautiful setting and a really peaceful atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!

Mi è piaciuto What a lovely little gem of a campsite! We were looking for a quiet, friendly, family-run site and this place was exactly what we hoped for. From the moment we arrived, the owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The site has everything you could want for a comfortable stay, including a reception and little shop for essentials, clean and hot showers and toilets, hairdryers, a washing-up area, waste disposal and a small playground. There are both electric and non-electric pitches, with some pitches also having picnic tables. There’s a really useful washroom with washing machines, a dryer and ironing facilities, plus a lovely indoor area with comfy sofas, free Wi-Fi, mobile charging points and plenty of leaflets for ideas of days out. We also loved the fact that a food van visits the site selling pizzas and chippy food — perfect when you don’t fancy cooking! There’s a farm shop just a short drive away, and the village is only about a 5-minute walk, with a pub, café and Londis shop. The wildlife was an added bonus. We spotted a swallow’s nest with chicks and watched their mum feeding them, as well as lots of colourful butterflies and rabbits. It really added to the peaceful, countryside feel of the site. A wonderful little campsite with genuinely friendly people, great facilities and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We would happily return and would definitely recommend it to families or anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to stay. ❤️🏕️

Mi è piaciuto Fabulous little campsite 2nd visit and first time using the shed in a bed, cosy complete with bedding,(in colder months would advise taking extra duvet with you) pub meals fabulous, excellent service and hospitality by owners. Alpacas are wonderful and friendly. I loved the echo friendly toilets and new washing facilities. Views are great, peaceful place to visit, with local walks and not far from Llyn Brenig lake.
