Coastal walks, beach days, outdoor adventures, family days out… whatever it is that brings you to this part of Devon, you’ll have a great base at Dartmouth Caravan Park. This family-friendly site (which also welcomes your four-legged companion) is part of a farm that’s surrounded by the stunning south Devon countryside and easily accessed from the main A3122 road to Dartmouth (five minutes’ drive). The harbour town’s shops, activities, attractions and restaurants are a couple of miles away, and there’s a handy bus stop just outside the site for easy trips to town via public transport. Dartmouth itself has plenty to keep you busy, especially if you take a ferry across the River Dart to explore all the things on the Kingswear side as well. It’s far from the only option for a day out, though – in fact, this area is pretty packed with things to do, with Woodlands Family Theme Park, huge sandy beaches like Blackpool Sands, Paignton Zoo and the huge expanse of Dartmoor National Park all within a half-hour drive. And that’s before you’ve even planned trips to nearby towns like Totnes (20 minutes) and Salcombe (35 minutes), or the fishing village of Brixham (25 minutes). That’s a lot to fit in, so it’s good to know that Dartmouth Caravan Park is comfortable enough to settle in for several days, with spacious pitches that have access to a dog park as well as a clean and modern bathroom block with accessible facilities.

Campeggio nuovissimo e consigliato, con piazzole spaziose e in piano, magnifiche viste. Bagni e docce moderni, pulitissimi e caldi, definiti i migliori da molti. Vicino a Dartmouth, fermata bus fuori, personale (Abi!) cordiale e disponibile. Ottimo campo per cani.

Mi è piaciuto Myself, mum and 2 teenage daughters have just returned from Dartmouth Caravan Park after 10 lovely days. We love this place so much that we decided to stay again after visiting last year for 1 week. The pitches are fabulous and so spacious. A huge separated grass area for our tent and our own large gravel car port. The views are truly stunning, I could sit and take them in all day. The facilities are the best we've seen lovely hot showers and always kept immaculately clean as is the whole park. We love the spa music that is played in the showers we find this a lovely touch and so very relaxing. Abi works so hard and is always so helpful and kind. My mum is 80 and still loves to camp and Abi has offered for us to pitch right next to the facilities next trip as mums mobility on some days not great. We were washed out of our 8 man tent on the second night of our stay, ( which was fun ) all part of camping life in a tent which can i mention was 20+ years young 😄. Abi allowed us to dispose of it after we purchased a new one the following morning. Determined to enjoy our stay on this lovely park we re pitched and ended up extending our stay from 7 nights to 10 as we love the sight so much. This was very easy to do on the park website. It's such a tranquil and peaceful park and situated in the most picturesque countryside. Lovely hearing and seeing the different farm animals by day and seeing hedgehogs and owls at night. Their's plenty to do in the surrounding area too lovely seaside towns to visit like kingsbridge, Salcombe, Paignton, Torquay and of course Dartmouth itself. We will definitely be returning again, and hopefully, some of our extended family will be booking and coming along too. Thank you, Abi, and the rest of your team for making our holiday great again and for helping us to make some more lovely memories together.

Mi è piaciuto What a lovely site. The facilities were excellent. Very clean all the time. The pitches drain very well and all have good views. The Wifi strength was very good. There's a bus stop virtually outside the site. We went into Dartmouth and Totnes. There are 3 lovely looking chalets also on site which we may book next year.

Mi è piaciuto Just what we liked. A quiet site with beautiful views. Abi sent us details of where to pitch and facilities available. The site was easy to get to, with level pitches. The facilities modern and very clean. We opted for electrical hookup which also had EV charging option. For dog lovers there was also a dog exercise area. The disabled / family room was spacious and well maintained.

Non mi è piaciuto I dropped one star as not keen on the push button showers, but the water was always warm and consistent. It may have benefited from a play area for kids, but we brought games along with us.

Mi è piaciuto The amenities are kept clean and tidy having spa music playing in the back ground is so inviting and relaxing.
There was no struggle with finding the amenities block at night as there was enough lighting all around.
The owner is so lovely and welcoming this is our second time staying there and there will be a third stay in the future.
Highly recommend nice clean tidy pitches.

There are multiple areas to explore at Woodlands Family Theme Park (five minutes’ drive), so if the kids (or you…) are into testing your agility skills, you might want to check out the Ninja Zone, with climbing walls and net bridges; if you’re into thrills, the Cyclone Canyon Zone has watercoasters and toboggan runs. There are also falconry displays and a zoo farm. The harbour at Brixham (25 minutes) is home to a full-size replica of the Golden Hind, the 16th-century galleon that sailed around the world under Sir Francis Drake. Walk along the Brixham Breakwater, which stretches half a mile into Tor Bay, for expansive views of the town. Dartmoor National Park (half an hour) has plenty of top spots where you can indulge your active passions, whether you’re into hiking, cycling, horse riding or canoeing. Otters, bats and cuckoo birds are among the many wildlife species inhabiting the park’s open moorlands, bogs and woodland.
