Liked The pool was a decent size and so was the pitch

Disliked Where to start… Toilets and showers unclean 90% of the time (toilets probably due to no toilet paper being provided) including no closed bins meaning waste is strewn across cubicles, pitch was uneven, dry, had a wasps nest, WiFi has to be paid for and doesn’t even work when you do, washing up area filthy as is the communal area at times as people leave rubbish when using it. Would not recommend or come again and could not wait to leave.

From the manager: We are sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations, but we would nevertheless like to clarify a few points regarding your review. During the week of the Dax festivities, which is a particularly busy period, our sanitary facilities are cleaned **three times a day**. When you came to reception to report their condition, we immediately went to check them. The situation was far from the “disaster” described in your review, and we actually have photos taken at that time. It had been raining, which had simply brought some mud onto the floor. Following your complaint, we nevertheless hosed down the facilities again. Regarding toilet paper, we would like to clarify that **we do not provide toilet paper in our sanitary facilities**. This is our usual policy and therefore does not mean that it was missing during your stay. You also mentioned a wasp nest to us, but as you left reception very upset, unfortunately we were unable to get your name or pitch number and therefore could not locate the problem precisely in order to deal with it. Finally, regarding the paid Wi-Fi, if you had told us that it was not working properly, we would of course have checked the issue and refunded you if the service was not satisfactory. We sincerely regret that you left with such a negative impression, but some of the points mentioned in your review do not reflect the situation we observed on site at the time of your complaint.
