What is glamping?
Glamping is a more 'glamorous' way to camp - hence the term. It's a more luxurious way to enjoy the great outdoors, without having to set up your own tent. You don't have to put any work into setting up your outdoor accomodation - someone else has put the effort in to provide you with a place to stay.
Some glamping setups are as straightforward as a bell tent or a yurt setup with a bed inside, with other options being furnished shepherds huts, fancy treehouses, safari tents or geodesic domes.
