Positiv Beautiful set up, very homely and comfortable. Can only imagine how lovely it must be on a summers night. Helpful friendly staff & good full English breakfast with all the trimmings, fab sausages, however the bacon had no flavour. The addition of shower gel was nice too.

Negativ Not much to dislike, just unfortunate things for our visit. Field was water logged so we couldn’t go on it, shower didn’t work but was fixed the next day.

Vom Platzbetreiber: Hello As our first guests for 2026 (others were cancelled due to terrible wet weather), I had inspected the showers a week ago however, it became clear that one of them was not reaching temperature and therefore we called out an electrician as soon as we were informed, he arrived on an urgent call on Sunday morning and confirmed a part was required. At the time of the complaint, I stated there were two other showers available but as you were going out for the day you hadn't time to shower and therefore, as a gesture of goodwill I gave a 10% discount voucher for the café. I am taking up your comment about bacon with our supplier. We have used this butcher for many years and have never before had a complaint about the lack of taste to this bacon, indeed, we have many people who come weekly as regulars to the café so I don't understand why it seemingly was tasteless - I will be sure to check it out. For the benefit of readers - In view of the water logged field, I offered the customers another date but they stated they still wanted to come, I therefore made sure their vehicle had a gravel hardstanding pitch to ensure their vehicle wouldn't get stuck. We do go above and beyond to make things right and when I spoke to the customer, they stated they would like to return, I look forward to welcoming them again.

Positiv The mansion house with free pool table & lovely bar. We also loved how big the shower cubicles were, plenty of room to move around & get sorted. Loved how quiet it was & close to the village

Positiv Lovely location, lovely homely shower room. Fabulous big pitch. Had everything we needed, great hosts, fantastic starry nights & beautiful bird song.

Negativ A few teething problems with electricity but it was their first day open this season & electrician was on site on Sunday to sort.

Positiv Evening entertainment was good & arcades offer good entertainment for kids, great play parks with plenty of space & loved the pond, ducks & rabbit burrows with bunnies happy to sit out. Loved the sauna & steam room in the swimming pool area for a bit of relaxation. Staff were very friendly & fun.

Negativ Toilet block, cold, took ages for showers to heat up so didn’t bother in the end. Power cut wasn’t the parks fault but it stopped the taps from working in block. Lights constantly on. Would’ve liked them to have been a bit more eco friendly with solar & sensor lights. I didn’t think the activities were quite worth the money, golf is poor quality & battle blaster guns didn’t work so well.

Positiv All the trees on site, bet it looks lovely when in leaf. Showers were great! 20 min drive to Doncaster for The Dome and great restaurants in centre.

Negativ Lack of hard standing pitches meaning in winter motor homes can get stuck, as we did. A bit too much road noise but gave great access into Doncaster.

Positiv The location was fantastic! Sea views & great for taking in both Scarborough and Filey. Toilet block near the play park was excellent, clean & modern. Loved that you had the freedom to pitch up wherever you liked!

Negativ Main building toilets were a bit tired looking & entertainment was only ok.
