Positiv Very tranquil and peaceful. Nice country walk into the nearest village, along a few other walks. Pub just around the corner from the site. There are a couple of take aways that offer delivery

Positiv Tranquil, spacious and surround by fields. For a basic site the facilities were better than I expected, which included communal fridge and sockets to charge phones - all very clean

Positiv Read the revues and took it as wild camping ( on a football pitch) with a few luxury. Excellent location, nice, flat pitch and mega quite and tranquil. Loads of space and parking on grass or hard standing. loads off trails and wonderful scenery and the locals were very friendly, same as with pub staff. The pub pot washing facilities and out door seating area is really good.

Negativ Toilets, a couple were out of order, but there were still more than ample working and no issues getting to use one - I think it’s a case we all remember the negatives. There was football game whilst we were there, so dependant on if you like football it could be a pro or a con!

Positiv Everything, brilliant location, remote, mega quite, excellent surrounding with a two minute walk through a woods to the costal path. There’s no shops local, but it’s only about a 10 minute drive into Lancaster. Nice walk along the coastal path ( good under foot) into Glasson dock where we had a nice meal in the Dalton arms. Sites quite basic, but couldn’t not fault the facilities
