Понравилось What a gem this place this !!! The location is amazing . It’s a15 minute walk from a brook. I’ll add photos . It’s the most amazing out door natural pool. My kids called it’s a natural deee water park! It was stones that are very slippery that they can slide down . Ideally bring wet suit and wet shoes . The walks are numerous and beautiful and easily assessable . There is about 1.4 miles of single track road but good passing places were around. Make a note of where they are as you pass. The shower was hot , bottled drinking water was provided. There is a little rope swing in the trees for children . The toilets are port a loos . They were kept clean. I’ve never been in a nice port a loo. Some are disgusting , these weren’t bad and I’m glad the facility was there in a pop up campsite . Price is incredible. Location is amazing . Check in and check out times are very generous! As you are high up . We had 4g all the time if Internet connection matters and none of us had issues logging on.

Понравилось This is the best kept campsite I’ve been in. Toilet blocks are so clean and nice . Cute little bar. We would have tried the food had we been there longer . WiFi signal is amazing ! Great feel about this place . I don’t think they could do anything to improve this place themselves .

Не понравилось Downside - getting there . The roads are so tight and narrow . We had a job in our motorhome 7.5 M by 2.7M . It’s a single lane road at the end and our camper was touching the sides of both hedges . Really needs to be one way. It was very hairy at times and I think we would have gotten stuck had we meet another motorhome / caravan . Passing places were poor and lots of reversing uphill to try and let cars past.

Понравилось Park dean . You know what you are getting . Location is great and Holywell bay is a very short walk and a must if you go here . Slide was great and we all had fun, there was pool toys they have there as well that the kids loved. Lifeguards were very friendly . Walks around the area are lovely too . WiFi was very poor and almost non existent at the touring area .

Не понравилось No showers at the swimming pool . Kids had to walk back very cold . Wrapped in towels . Showers and block were also dated and paint peeling ect that make it look dirtier than it is . Swimming pool opening times , 9-12.30 and then 2-4.15. Couldn’t always walk in - ideal to book but then it takes the spontaneity out of the holiday . Would have had music. Could have had music round the pool for atmosphere .

Понравилось Really warm welcome! Mousehole is a very short walk and such a picturesque village. There is a harbour that people were swimming in! Wish we had brought our crabbing stuff and swimsuits. A must is the old coastguard pub. Pricey but beautiful old building and a beautiful garden facing the sea. Would stay again. Thank you .

Не понравилось The showers and toilets being in the football grounds . I felt like I was Intruding! WiFi signal was very poor .

Понравилось The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The site is in a beautiful location and the childrens park was lovely. The facilities were nice . My partner particularly loved the jet hose they had for chemical waste disposal. The showers were clean and warm . It rained but it’s the highlands.

Не понравилось It was very noisy in the night . Cars were driving past in the early hours and loud conversations past 11pm were heard . I did feel that we had stopped in a lay-by and not a site . Not sure if there is a warden on in the night to monitor this . If you’re a deep sleeper then this would not be a problem and this was our only issue .

Понравилось Good toilet facilities , it is right opposite flamingo land, so a good choice if you plan to visit here. I’d recommend here if you were visiting flamingo land.

Не понравилось The play park is for older children only, not good for those with children under 6.

Понравилось I’ve given this site 5/ 5 stars, as you get exactly what you pay for, had this been an expensive site I’d be giving a different star review. We paid £15 a night and for that we got a basic facilities with a very friendly welcome. The site is very laid back. , the owner very welcoming. It is a pub, the toilets at the front of the pub, with a shower and washing up area at the back. I saw negative reviews for the shower, but let me explain. The shower itself is great, it’s powerful, hot and it not one of those annoying push the button to power the shower. It’s the shed it’s housed in that lets it’s down. It looks unfinished and it isn’t airtight. It’s fine in the summer, I imagine in the winter it’s drafty. I would much prefer a hot powerful shower, than one that looked great but was lukewarm. We stopped here and went to and from Alton towers, it suited our needs perfectly. We also got good reception from our own network here.

Понравилось It’s a clean campsite, with is very reassuring with Covid around. I think they did a good job of running the campsite with Covid. It is also a beautiful location. It rained both days we were there all day, it’s not the campsites fault we could not explore the beauty of this place.

Не понравилось We booked via pitch up, when booking it said for a Motorhome or caravan, however the pitch was tiny. It felt like a small car park. Apparently it’s for small camper vans only . At 1 point we had 4 big Motorhome a all squeezed on this small area.We didn’t pay for an awning but you expect to be able to put your wind up out. But there was no space or privacy to even put your chairs out. When checking in we were told it was because we booked via pitch up and should of called direct, but you have to add the measurements of the Motorhome when you book, the campsite should check this; if it’s an known error with pitch up bookings. I felt I was told off for this and it set a bad tone for the holiday, I wouldn’t go back here. The roads are also so small to get to a holiday park. The kind of roads your worried about getting stuck with the Motorhome, you need to be an excellent driver to come out unscathed . There is no Signal for your own network and the charge £10 a day for Wi-Fi, which I found very steep. I’ve given 3 stars as the location is beautiful.

Понравилось This is a beautiful, well maintained campsite. The toilet facilities were very clean. I can imagine that in the busier periods that people may have to queue. We went here as my partner loves fishing, the lake is well stocked, and while the fish they caught were small, they had a great time as they saw plenty of action. I would defiantly come again and recommend others, I would also call it a warden less sight however, it was strange that we saw no one but the cleaner as we had prepaid. When you arrive your name is written on a white board with your pitch number and all the campsite info is on posters to the left. The pitch markings numbers are very small and on the electric post, I did spend a while trying to find my number, I realised that the numbers are marked on an a4 poster where the whiteboard is but this is easy to miss when you first arrive. Being emailed instructions would of been nice, for example- when you arrive your pitch is on the white board as you come in, here’s an attached map for reference, any problems speak to the ferry man or ask at the pub. These are Minor details however it took nothing anyway from our enjoyment of the site, the campsite really is lovely and the pub does very good food, and it’s right next to the campsite. Bonus. We travelled as 2 motor homes and I made a note in the bookings to please be next to each other and we were so they really do read the comments when you book and prepay. Thank you for a great stay.

Не понравилось They only had glass bottle recycling, everything else went. Into the black bin, this felt a bit wrong, so if the owners read this please add a Big green bin.
