Понравилось The restaurant had a good variety of food at reasonable prices. The pitches were large in size with water, electric and own drain. Staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English, They were exceptionally helpful in every way.

Не понравилось Well trimmed hedges that at times were bit tall which was great for privacy but could feel a little overwhelming. Wifi was a little disappointing since it stopped abruptly many times and could be difficult to reconnect. There were few activities on site which were not at extra cost. Most of the acuities were for children.

Понравилось Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff Big pitches with easy access. Good stable electricity. Good food in restaurant which was reasonably priced. Good washing machine facilities. Satisfactory free wifi Lots of activities for children Peaceful at night

Не понравилось The price! There was no area on the site which was flat. There was no reception and there was no one to greet you upon arrival. That would have been acceptable if we had been pre-warned but we were not. The signage at the entrance was too small to read and was torn. We drove past and so had to reverse a long caravan down a busy street. The grounds looked as if the site was disused until a walk proved otherwise. We never saw the owner. We just left a note with someone to pass on to say we had stayed. Other "inmates" told us what to do as there was no sign to direct campers as to where to pitch. This is not what we expect from a Pitch Up site and certainly not for the price we paid. We left a much cheaper site with far more facilities and with staff to help and talk to! In the UK we would class this as a certified location site and the price would be at least half of what were charged. I realise Belgian is more expensive but it was advertised as having a bar and restaurant and we found neither of these. Only one water tap was labelled as drinkable. The chemical disposal was not labelled. There was no site lighting so it was quite eerie in the evening. The grass did not appear to have been cut but we did note as we were leaving there was a gardener clearing a pathway to the main building.

I am sorry you didn't receive the instructions we usually send to our guest by email for the self check in, I understand this mus have been difficult. I am working on getting them into the pitch up system as I noticed it is possible. But we are new on the system. Our concept is a nature campsite where we do not adapt nature to the campsite. We allow 10 places on 2 hectares of nature and you can look for the spot you like. It might be a bit more difficult to stand straight but it is definitely possible. So there is plenty of space to enjoy nature at its best. I know it's a love it or hate it concept for people who like wildcamping (not aloud in Belgium) with basic facilities. Thank you for your comment, and I'm sorry we couldn't fulfill your wishes.

Понравилось Food on site. Reliable good amperage electricity. Easy pitching on large pitches. Free access to public swimming pool by site. Helpful staff with good English spoken. Very pleasant quiet location by river. Much to do in the area but equally a good location for an overnight stay. Good tarmac main site roads produced no dust.

Не понравилось Pitch numbering could be clearer as some are a little overgrown. Due to random pitching by others site electric boxes could be full. Wifi by reception was slightly inconvenient.

Понравилось ease of access on to pitches. did not mind that we got held up in traffic and arrived late - we did let them know but it was still late and the receptionist had to stay .

Не понравилось nothing but site is hard to find from main road if going for first time.

Понравилось quiet. Close to Cherbourg port . hard standing pitches. easy to access. good electric supply. Excellent wifi. Good clean facilities. Good English spoken. friendly owner.

Понравилось the tidiness of the site. the friendliness of the owner. The fact that he had left clear instructions upon our arrival as to how to contact him. he soon arrived with a welcome gift . Very acceptable after a long journey. Exceptionally quiet site . Good English spoken.

Не понравилось the gateway was rather tight for our long caravan. We were very aware that we may hit the post as we pulled out but we did clear. The owner was aware and I think he is making alterations . If you approach sensible and with care there is no problem. We heard three cars on the access road in the whole length of our stay.

Не понравилось Better signage needed on final approach to site. We were not convinced we had the right site until we entered the site. Labelled drinking water taps for UK aqua rolls would be useful .

Понравилось Peaceful, walled ,secure site Good wifi. Helpful owner who was available when needed but did not bother you if not necessary. Easy access to pitches and easy site to find
