Polubione We enjoyed Stable View Campsite so much that we extended our stay twice! That probably says more than anything else about how much we liked being here.
The campsite is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful Devon countryside, making it a lovely place to return to after spending the day exploring. It is also very well positioned for day trips and discovering different parts of Devon.
The facilities were clean and well maintained, and we felt comfortable and settled here very quickly. We originally intended to stay for a much shorter period, but each time we were due to leave we found ourselves wanting another night!
Stable View provided exactly what we wanted from a campsite: beautiful surroundings, peace and quiet, good facilities and a convenient base for exploring Devon by car.
We made some wonderful memories here and would definitely stay again if we return to this part of Devon.
Niepolubione There was honestly very little for us to dislike. We were comfortable enough to extend our booking twice, which speaks for itself!
If you're looking for lots of entertainment and amenities immediately outside the campsite, this probably isn't that type of site. For us, however, the peaceful rural setting was part of its charm and we were happy to explore the surrounding area by car.

Polubione Barn Farm Campsite is very easy to find, although the approach is along the winding, narrow country roads you would expect in this part of Devon. Once you arrive, the views from the campsite are absolutely spectacular and were one of our favourite things about staying here.
The facilities are simple but very well maintained. The washing-up area is fairly basic and only has cold water, but it does the job. The shower was always clean with lovely hot water, and the toilets were also exceptionally clean throughout our stay.
The location is fantastic for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to beautiful walks, beaches and plenty of tourist attractions and day trips. It makes a great base if you want to get out during the day and explore this stunning part of Devon.
We originally booked for three nights but enjoyed our stay so much that we rebooked and stayed longer! That probably says everything. We had a lovely experience at Barn Farm and would happily recommend it.
Niepolubione The only thing to be aware of is the wind. The campsite can experience some extremely strong gusts, so I would definitely recommend bringing a sturdy windbreak, particularly if you plan to cook or sit outside your tent.
Other than that, there was genuinely nothing we disliked about our stay.

Polubione We absolutely loved Hum Hideaway. The campsite is peaceful, beautifully maintained and surrounded by stunning Oxfordshire countryside. The facilities are exceptional, with clean toilets and showers, constant hot water, heated facilities and excellent washing-up and recycling areas.
The location is perfect for exploring Witney, Oxford and the surrounding Cotswold villages, while still being wonderfully quiet and rural. We loved waking up to the wildlife, including rabbits, deer and red kites flying overhead.
The owners are friendly, welcoming and run an exceptionally well-kept site. We enjoyed Hum Hideaway so much that we extended our stay several times. It genuinely became our little home away from home.
We will 100% return. It's one of our favourite campsites and was absolutely perfect for us.
Niepolubione The only downside for us was the slope of the camping field. During a longer stay, the incline put quite a lot of pressure on our large tent and its structure.
This certainly wouldn't stop us returning, though. For a shorter stay it wouldn't have concerned us at all, and everything else about Hum Hideaway was fantastic. We would happily stay here again.

Polubione Loves Hill Camping is in a fantastic location for exploring both Bristol and Bath, making it a great base if you're travelling around this part of the country. The campsite itself is beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by stunning countryside views.
The facilities are simple but perfectly functional. There are compost toilets, and the showers are clean with lovely hot water. The washing-up facilities are cold water only, but were perfectly adequate for our 3 night stay.
The site manager is extremely friendly, affable and welcoming. There's a lovely little onsite shop where you can buy bacon rolls, teas and coffees, which is a really nice touch when you're camping. There's also a charging point where guests can charge phones and other devices, which we found incredibly useful.
There is a small village nearby with two shops for basic essentials, while Lidl and Sainsbury's are approximately a 14-minute drive away for a larger food shop.
Overall, a beautiful campsite with lovely views, a welcoming atmosphere and a particularly convenient location for visiting both Bath and Bristol.
Niepolubione Disliked
The surrounding local area wasn't particularly to my personal taste. There were quite a few abandoned-looking buildings and, if you're looking to explore on foot, there wasn't much for us to do within walking distance apart from visiting the local pub.
I was also travelling as a single parent with my 16-year-old daughter, who is still classed as a child/minor. The campsite charges £12 per person, and I personally felt it was a little steep to pay the same rate for a 16-year-old as for an adult. I think a reduced rate for children and young people would make the site more affordable for families, particularly single-parent households.
This is very much a personal preference rather than a criticism of the campsite itself, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Polubione My daughter and I have just spent several days at Hum Hideaway and we honestly didn't want to leave. From the moment we arrived, Hannah and John made us feel incredibly welcome. They are friendly, approachable and clearly passionate about creating a peaceful place for people to relax and enjoy the countryside.
The campsite is exceptionally well maintained with spacious pitches, spotless facilities, constant access to hot water, clean washing-up sinks and plenty of bins for both rubbish and recycling. Everything has been thoughtfully planned and cared for.
As someone living with a spinal condition and limited mobility, this site has been ideal. Although there isn't a pub within walking distance, travelling by car meant we could easily explore Witney, which is only around 10 minutes away, along with many beautiful Cotswold villages and attractions. It has been the perfect base for sightseeing.
The wildlife has been another highlight. We enjoyed watching rabbits, deer and many different species of birds, while the sunsets across the fields have been absolutely breathtaking. The peace and tranquillity here are exactly what we needed.
Hum Hideaway strikes the perfect balance between modern facilities and a beautiful countryside setting. My daughter and I have made wonderful memories here and we'll definitely be returning. Thank you, Hannah and John, for creating such a special place.
Niepolubione Nothing at all. The peaceful location is one of the campsite's greatest strengths. There isn't a pub within walking distance, but this wasn't an issue for us as we were travelling by car. Everything we wanted to explore was only a short drive away, including Witney and many stunning Cotswold villages. We genuinely couldn't fault our stay.
