Ik was blij met Always a good welcome. Very good facilities and easy access to beaches and local shops. This site is located well for a mid-way stop as we head down from Rosoff, via Brittany as we look to push further south. Vaillon beach is a great place to spend the day.

Ik was niet blij met Pitches can feel a little cramped and after a long hot summer a little bare/dusty but the mix of lodges, campers, tents etc... works well.

Ik was blij met Great welcome and hospitality. Level pitches with very good showers and WCs. Quiet site with easy drives to beaches and nearby towns. Perfect location to head to once we leave Roscoff.

Ik was blij met Small and perfectly formed pristine site overlooking the valleys. Great pitches, private with EHU. Swimming pool was very relaxing after a long drive and the showers/toilets are immaculate. We had the best and warmest welcome in France from Maud who showed us around the site which was really appreciated. Tranquil, quiet (the best nights sleep) and relaxing stay. Watching the thunderstorms in the distance was a treat and waking to the stunning valley backdrop.

Ik was blij met Customer service is very good. Basic shower and toilet block but always plenty of hot water, clean and toilet roll provided. Very close to the town, which is pretty and bustling. Easy drive to shops and supermarkets and access to the beach roads to the sea.

Ik was niet blij met Pitches look like end of season, dusty and bare. Wasps, ants, beetles a plenty but no bother in general. The site is respectful of noise at 11pm which is great and the mainly French campers on site are very nice and friendly but the pitch we had was next to the site wall which backed on to a public road which the locals used at all hours and no regard for volume when talking or idling cars and vans… two poor nights sleep but with the Med beaches to fall asleep on, it wasn’t too bad. If you want peace guaranteed at night I’m not sure this is the place to stay.

Ik was blij met Great pitches in a woodland setting - plenty of water points and the EHU no problem. Arrived a little late due to really heavy thunderstorms so managed to set up a quick lean to awning on the van and grab some food. Bar and restaurant looked amazing but fully booked and we we were late arriving. Showers/toilets are next level - very impressive. This was a one night stop over en route to the Med and really great value with a high end feel ~ one we would return to on our return journey north.

Ik was blij met Compact site so access to pitch and amenities really easy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Level pitch, great to have water and EHU next to the van. Easy walk to the local Lidl’s (also used the wash.me self service in their car park). Great showers and toilets - very clean. Great beaches a short 20 minute drive away.

Ik was niet blij met Pitches are a little open and close to other pitches but not so much a dislike but an observation having arrived from a more rural site.

Ik was blij met Friendly and helpful staff. Not a big site but well laid out. We had flat grass pitch for our VW and awning, private enough and excellent EHU. Food vans or bar available every night. We enjoyed live 3 piece band. Easy drive to shops and beaches. Really great site - a nice little find booking last minute as we drove off the Roscoff ferry.

Ik was blij met The location accessed some narrow lanes, is close to the canal (short walk down the hill) where you can walk, just over a mile into Bude and onto the beaches and the town centre. The canal walk has lots of wildlife (ducks, geese, kingfishers etc., a very peaceful stroll (no bikes permitted on the canal tow path) and the Dunes on the beach were a great place to enjoy the sun and views over the bay and shelter from the wind late September so the weather was on the turn). Access to the headland and coastal walk is 10 mins in the other direction The site was very quiet as it was end of season, the owner was very friendly and met us on arrival to let us know various things.

Ik was niet blij met It's hard to be too critical as this is an eco-site, so you do expect more rudimentary facilities. There was plenty of hot water for the showers but in short it really does need an upgrade - I don't mind 'rustic charm' but would expect to have better maintained shower area in general. Two hand basins and only one was working. There is no hot water to the pot wash area. The site only has a few level pitch areas - we were able to position the VW camper and awning and with the aid of our vehicle levellers set up between some trees but this made opening the tailgate fully a little tricky. Being picky, you can hear the constant 'drone' of the A39 "Atlantic Highway' in the distance but perhaps my sharp hearing is more my issue!

Ik was blij met What a great camp site! From a warm welcome upon arrival through the 5 nights on site, we enjoyed the site tremendously. Level private pitches, excellent electric hook up (no issues with power), basic but always very clean shower/toilet block/wash up area. Quiet during our stay (kids were back at school) and mainly older campers. 500m to the beach which has a great walk/bike board walk if you want to stroll to the nearby towns or plenty of access through the dunes to the beaches - decent rollers and breakers when we stayed and looks like a great venue for kite/wind surfers. A quality crêperie was on site on Tuesday from 6pm to 9pm which was very popular but worth the wait! The onsite pool looked well maintained and even a sauna which you can pay to use. Plenty of amenities close by for a short car/van journey if you need supplies.

Ik was niet blij met Little to dislike at this site - remember to take your own toilet roll as per the usual French way but that isn’t a dislike.
