What customers say
This secluded, rustic cabin offers a peaceful escape in a beautiful, natural setting. Guests praise the stunning location, tranquil atmosphere, and the charm of the horses and lake. The cabins are well-equipped for a back-to-basics experience, with working lighting and log burners. While most reviews highlight a positive and relaxing stay, one reviewer in April 2024 noted issues with shower cleanliness and a lack of safety detectors. Subsequent reviews in May 2024 and later have not mentioned these specific issues, suggesting improvements may have been made. Some guests found the access track muddy or difficult for cars.

A complete get away from it all, surrounded by peace and nature.
Tilly's cabin
Liked Very friendly and accommodating host. Extremely peaceful and private, and a beautiful area. Lots of different birds and wildlife. Great location for walks, pubs, villages and areas of interest. Can fish in your own lake, or book a riding lesson/hack. Great to have an outdoor firepit and a bbq for the evenings. Shower was nice and warm and quite powerful.
Disliked Although it feels lovely and rustic and meant to feel basic and ‘get away from it all’, the cabin could do with some tlc and little touches to make it feel more loved and clean.
