Μου άρεσε Perfect stopover for onward travel to France. Only 15 minutes away from Dover, missing out the risks of getting stuck on M20.

Μου άρεσε Excellent service at reception. Restaurant is first class. Good sized pitches. Facilities clean, where we were they weren't unisex. Good location, Middelburg is well worth a visit.

Μου άρεσε The site, itself is fantastic and in a great location. Clean, ample facilities.

Δεν μου άρεσε Prior to arrival we were advised of our pitch C02, we were unable to identify this pitch on the online map or on map at site reception. The areas A, B, C were not highlighted. We arrived at 1500 on a Sunday afternoon and the reception was closed. (Phone call not answered) After 20 minutes we found pitch 02, so pitched up there. When reception was open, the following morning, we were advised that we were in the wrong section of the site and to stay on that pitch, in my opinion, an inferior pitch we had to pay an extra 6 euros per night, or relocate, including drive away awning to other site. If you are on this fantastic site don't accept pitch 2, it is directly under a wind turbine, causing 24 hours of varying noise and flickering shadow in late afternoon and evening.

Μου άρεσε Clean, friendly site, spacious pitches. 15 minutes walk in to village. Easy to walk through nature reserve to amazing art - sculpture park. Facilities very clean. No sign of rats.

Μου άρεσε Very clean spacious shower blocks. Friendly helpful staff. Rolling countryside, close to the Viking Way.

Μου άρεσε Very friendly, helpful staff. Good sized hardstanding pitches. Clean toilet block. Fantastic 45 minutes display by the Red Arrows.

Μου άρεσε Great, peaceful location. Toilet and showers very tidy and clean.

Δεν μου άρεσε Due to fair amount of rain, almost got stuck on main grassy track, even with all terrain tyres.

Μου άρεσε Location. Staff friendly and helpful.

Δεν μου άρεσε Shower cubicles very small and often flooded. Shower/toilet block in need of a good clean - a lot of cobwebs.

We're sorry to hear about your experience with the shower and toilet block. We do our best to keep these areas clean, but due to our countryside location, spiders and their webs can reappear very quickly, especially when the doors to the amenity block are left open. We will, however, be redoubling our efforts to ensure a more thorough and frequent cleaning schedule. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the size of the shower cubicles and will take this into consideration for future improvements. We hope to welcome you back again soon.

Μου άρεσε Beautiful location. Not far from Melbourne, well worth a visit, and National Trust Calke Abbey. Clean, spacious toilet/shower block. Very friendly wardens.
